The report tells that some dealers have already started approving pre-hiring at a token amount of Rs 5,000. The Svartpilen 401 is not a brand-new bike as it has been on sale in the international markets for a long time, along with its sibling Svartpilen 401.

Both Huskies, Svartpilen and Vitpilen are produced by Bajaj Auto at its facility in Chakan. The quarter-liter model is for the domestic market, while the 401 range is shipped to overseas markets. Owned by Peer Mobility, Husqvarna is a collaborative brand of KTM and hence its India operations are controlled by the Indian two-wheeler giant.

This motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox and generates 45 Bhp of power and 39 Nm of peak torque. The Svartpilen 401 can also borrow ride-by-wire and multiple riding models from KTM’s new-gen Street Fighter.
